Joyful flowers, whimsical declarations of the heart, and unapologetic hope — this is our love language! The amazing artwork used for this piece was hand-drawn in Pennsylvania in 1854, and was originally created as a backdrop for a perfume and botanical extract display. The images were reworked and some touches added — including the heart-in-hand (the symbol for kindness and charity), and messages in historic fonts (“Love is the only gold” and “Love one another”) to complement the original hand-lettering. The result is a true original: romantic, bohemian, and super cool.
Such a fun piece to wear! It’s perfect with jeans, a plain white tee, and white sneakers — but it’s equally as perfect levelled-up with a slip dress or long skirt and some statement accessories. It also mixes beautifully with green, deep blue, red, or brick, so don’t be afraid to layer it over brighter solids. We’ve been wearing it with jeans, a cream lace tank, boots, turquoise earrings, and a big smile :)
Material - 100% viscose (derived from plant fibres such as bamboo and wood). Machine wash gentle or handwash and hang to dry. Iron to finish if needed.
One Size Fits All (8-14) Kimono measurements: length 58cm, width (across back, underarm to underarm) 74cm. Model is 5’8” for reference.
